A cookie is a small value a website stores in a browser. This page describes the custom Kioto Gaming theme and the checks needed when hosting or plugin choices change.
Current theme behaviour
The public theme does not add advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or behavioural analytics cookies. WordPress may use essential cookies for administrators, logged-in users, security or session features. Those cookies support the requested function rather than advertising.
Contact form
The project enquiry form uses a WordPress security token to reject invalid submissions. It does not use that form data to build an advertising profile. The submitted details are handled under the Privacy Policy.
Plugins, hosting and embeds
A production host, consent tool, analytics plugin, video embed or spam service can change the cookie set. Before any such feature is enabled, the team must inventory the cookie name, provider, purpose, duration and whether consent is required. This policy and any consent interface must then be updated together.
Browser controls
You can remove or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking an essential WordPress cookie may affect login, administration or another feature that depends on a session.
